Two youngsters leave their Kansas home to rejoin their father in Denver, embarking on a thrilling adventure across the stunningly beautiful and foreboding frontier know as the "savage land." Joining young Luke and Hannah Morgan (COREY CARRIER, MERCEDES MCNAB) on their stagecoach journey are songstress Many McCullough (CHARLOTTE ROSS) and a deadly gunslinger with a dark secret, Clara Tilton (VIVIAN SCHILLING). As the stage makes its way west, a trio of dim-witted bandits, Quint (CORBIN BERNSEN), Cyrus (BRION JAMES) and Lassiter (SONNY LANDHAM) prepare to rob it. Disguised with war paint and armed with bows and arrows, these three self-styled "Injuns" botch the hold-up, but cause the stage to hurtle over a cliff and into a raging river. The four shaken passengers narrowly escape disaster - and the "Injuns." While the frustrated outlaws continue to track them, Luke, Hannah, mandy and clara find temporary haven with a friendly giant of a man named Jeb Hawkins (BO SVENSON). But after leaving Jeb's camp, the three women are kidnapped by the trio of bandits; at the same time, Luke is seized by the friendly Cherokee Skyano (GRAHAM GREENE). Skyano devises a clever plan to retrieve the three women. In an action-packed climax, clara, who has never shot at a live target, confronts-and shoots-Quint in a heart-stopping showdown. Cyrus and Lassiter are subdued by Skyano and his band, which now includes Luke. The Denver marshall and his posse, including Luke and Hannah's father, Jubal (MARTIN KOVE), arrive at the scene. Jubal is thrilled to be reunited with his children. He is also immediately attracted to Clara and forms a personal and professional partnership with the former gunslinger. Skyano honors Luke by giving him an Indian name "Uu-stee" - "Man who walks in a boy's body." The adventure over, everyone makes plans to begin their new lives.
