Detective Cole Chamberlain's (Dylan Walsh) brother was a star athlete. They said he overdosed on performance enhancing drugs. Cole is sure he was murdered. Unable to prove his brother's murder, and unable to give up trying, Cole is kicked off the force. Now years later and no nearer to finding his brother's killer, he has taken up with a girl, Stephanie (Dina Meyer) that he thinks will bring him one step closer to the truth.
