A man is dead and a beautiful woman, the lead suspect in the murder, goes on the run. But the detective assigned to the case finds himself strangely drawn to the woman, even as he uncovers her call-girl past and seedy circle of friends. The gumshoe soon realizes that his fugitive may have been set up to take the fall for a crime that she didn’t commit. But even if he does find her and uncover the truth…will he have the heart to turn her in?
